Jason Scott was born in Toronto Ontario, and grew up on the Niagara peninsula 20 miles from Niagara Falls. At the age of 5 years he entered The Conservatory of Music and at 15 years graduated with 1st degree honors, equaling the training of his teachers. After high school, Jason toured Canada extensively for 20 years, as lead singer for night club, cover, and original concert bands.
In the late 1980's and early 1990's Jason was a record label signed writer and performer. During those years Jason attended L.A. Radio Works and graduated 1st in his class with honors as a C.R.T.C. licensed broadcaster.
In 1997, after finding and realizing the voice of "Neil", Jason began performing in soft seat theatres and casinos in a show titled "Diamond Forever A Celebration Of Neil Diamond" exciting audiences across Canada, the United States and Mexico.
In the summer of 2005, Jason became the first "International" tribute artist to win the "Be A Legend" competition as "Neil Diamond" at the Las Vegas Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino. He was awarded an enthusiastically received audition with "On Stage Entertainment" owners of "Legends in Concert".
Since then, Jason has made hit appearances at "The Rosen Plaza Hotel" in Orlando Florida and aboard The Royal Caribbean ship "The Monarch of the Seas". He has appeared in Las Vegas at "The Greek Isles Hotel and Casino", the "South Point Hotel Casino and Spa", The "Imperial Palace", The Fremont Street Experience and before her demolition, the world famous "Stardust Resort and Casino".
September of 2010, Jason Scott was awarded The Sunburst Convention Of Celebrity Tribute Artists "Best Platinum Showcase Award".
February 2011, Jason was recognized by receiving the 2nd place "2nd Annual Las Vegas Tribute Idol" trophy. He also performed his Diamond Forever show on the "Fremont Street Stage" at the "Fremont Street Experience" and was specially invited to make an appearance as the opening act for the headlining "Country Superstars" show in the fabulous "Golden Nugget Showroom".
This February 2012, Jason was honored to be nominated for a Reel Award. The award is considered to be the "Oscar" of the Tribute And Impersonator industry. Jason returned to Las Vegas and again performed his award winning show on the Fremont Street Stage at "The Fremont Street Experience".
He was also specially invited to perform at "The Reel Awards Show" ceremony. During the evening's event, Jason was surprised, humbled and proud to win a "Reel Award" in the Pop and Rock category!

April of 2014 it was announced that Jason Scott was chosen to be the "only" Neil Diamond performance artist to represent Canada in a groundbreaking musical documentary. This feature length motion picture showcases the on and off stage lives of the best Neil Diamond performance artists from around the world.
For going on 20 years, Jason has been producing sold-out “Diamond Forever” performances to exhilarated audiences in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, the United Sates, and Mexico.
Jason Scott resides in the south eastern Kootenay Mountains of British Columbia, Canada.
